Natalie Portman recently did an interview with ELLE magazine. She discusses the political race, creative control, and her sense of ambition. The smarts she gathered at Harvard always make her seem more intelligent than anyone who interviews her.
Garden State is one of my favorite movies, partly due to the fantastic chemistry she shared with Zach Braff. When she won the Golden Globe for Closer, her humble shyness proved to be her most endearing quality. It’s nice to know that someone can do a mega-blockbuster like Star Wars and stay grounded. On a side note, her talents in gangsta rap are pretty epic. Click HERE if you haven’t seen the SNL short.
She’s the kind of girl I would love to just sit in a BLENZ with and let loose on whatever topic came to mind. Be it medieval mythology, Guitar Hero, global warming, or the rise and fall of MySpace, I’m sure her nerd factor would keep me occupied for hours.
